Sunday, January 08, 2006 yoz, haha, long time no blog le. think its almost a year and a half le. to mark my return, i ripped something off my fren's blog. anway i put it on mine too, coz its quite nice. enjoy the new year xia! and girls, enjoy sch! love, hope, and time. Love draws lines between us like an astronomer plotting a constellation from stars, joining points into patterns that have no basis in nature. The butt of every triangle becomes the heart of another, until the roof of reality is a tesselalation of love affairs. Taken together, they have the pattern of netting; and behind them, i think, is love. love is the only perfect fisherman, the one who casts the broadest net, which no fish can escape. his reward is to sit alone in the tavern of life, forever a boy among men, hoping someday to tell stories about the one that got away. And Hope, which whispered from Pandora's box only after all the other plagues and sorrows had escaped, is the best and last of all things. without it, there is only time. and time pushes at our backs like a centrifuge, forcing us outwards and away, until it nudges us into oblivion.Until then, time is simply the yardstick of our separation. if we are particles in a sea of distance, exploded from an original whole, then there is a science to our solitude. we are lonely in proportion to our years. (: you know what - day in and out, you look for the one you love, and hoping that that someone would be the one returning you your deserving love. but at the end of the day, you'd realise that the one beside you isn't the one that you'd live for at the beginning, you'd realise that the one beside isn't the one you'd really die for at the end of it all.. but it's okay. because love is a strategically well managed, and well run-ned business. an operation that requires careful and sensitive management, such that it will grow, and eventually, in all sincere and genuine hope, blossom into a medium, through which the intangible happiness transforms into palpable bliss.the ironic coldness of it all - what you love best is not the love of (probably) your lifetime. well, don't lie to yourself. cos' you can't even get pass the others.and you know what, engineering all this lovey-dovey mechanism, is but the element of hope - your anticipation in all perpetual positivities. a love with hope is probably an attempt half-succeeded, but a hopeless love is one that's doomed, forever - where time does not matter...and you matter. you did, you do, and will do. but - it's only if you'd hear this. if only you'd read this. if only you'd get this.such pain derived out of love - an attempt to address the incongruity, of which, nothing mattered, a single bit, at all. goodbye, my love. scribbled by Jeremy at 4:28 am | 0 replies Sunday, January 01, 2006 yep good to see everyone after so long =) thanks for organisin the outin and may all of you enjoy the upcoming scribbled by Anonymous at 3:01 am | 0 replies |
